“The Plinths” project – Celebrating the return of the Banksy artwork to the town of Folkestone

In 2014 Banksy made a stop in Folkestone as part of the Folkestone Triennial (kind of). Quickly after, the wall was cut out and sold being shipped to America.

After a long legal battle the piece returns to Folkestone 6 years later.

In celebration The Creative Quarter has placed 10 vacant plinths in and around Folkestone for you to cast your own ideas on and upload. Giving a nod to Banksy street art which depicts an old lady with headphones looking at an empty plinth.
